GBI is committed to utilizing operational procedures that protect the environment, while enhancing public health and safety in all its production sites.

Environmental Policy of Gadot Biochemical Industries Ltd.

GBIs environmental management system strives to minimize the environmental impact by: reusing, recycling, utilizing processes which conserve raw materials and energy and by reducing waste.

All GBI employees in allproduction sites are committed to this environmental policy.

To fulfill the stated objectives, the following practices are being implemented.

-  Informing all GBI employees about the importance of environmental quality and its protection. 
-  Initiating a comprehensive analysis of environmental indicators to maintain  a high level of compliance. 
-  Ensuring that all practices are in full compliance with local and national laws and regulations concerning environmental protection.
-  AppIying an environmental safety system, staffed by qualified professionals.

In addition to the compliance with existing regulations, GBI is continually training and informing its employees about enhancements to its comprehensive environmental protection policy.
